At the end of my story, I hope for you to find a chapter.

A chapter that will speak of the mad man I was.

For it may sound intriguing to some or many but

the truth is, mad is what every character is, will and ever was.

Mad because I saw dreams, hoped everyday,

trusted despite betrayals and dared after being shunned away.

Mad because I lived through hypocrisy while smiling

and cried at the truthful moments which are indeed rare,

tried to imitate the birds without having any wings,

and lastly, imagined without knowing its heavy fare.

I wish that chapter to be a short one

for the world has lost its appetite for the substantial.

Then again, who am I to say anything after being done,

just know that the chapter will be titled "Consequential".
