Finally, finally, finally, I have put together my new website that attempts to describe me and my work as accurately as possible.
I began to think about a website in October 2020 when I began private practice. While my identity and values as a teacher were solidified a long time go, who I am as a teacher in private practice and as a business owner has been very difficult and confusing to figure out, especially since I work alone.
Now, after over two years of actual work with students, parents, teachers and school leaders, after lots of trial and error, mistakes, regrets and insights, I am far more comfortable with my strengths, limits and boundaries. The website and a host of internal documents I am now slowly creating reflect that stability.
This website is made by using only free tools (except the Google domain that was affordable). So, the store and the blog open up on a new tab and lead to Gumroad and WordPress (this blog) respectively. At the moment, I cannot afford to pay for a domain that can host all of them at one place. So this will have to do. One more thing I am unhappy about is the ads on this blog. I'd love to have clean interface with no ugly distractions, but that will have to wait for another day too.
I want to take this opportunity to thank my adorable students, parents who shared their lovely children with me, teachers who trusted my ability to support them, and leaders who saw my potential to contribute to their schools - all remotely from my office at home in Mysore. My family and friends have stood by me steadfast even and especially on days it was hard. I am truly grateful.
Without further ado, here it is:
