Correct me if I am wrong but there are days that you feel empty and powerless. On some days you are so happy that you want the world to see it. But on some days your bed is your only escape, you want to hide there and you do not want to wake up from your sleep.
I have been chasing and looking for love but honey that ship has already sailed. If love wants me it knows where to find me I still have the same address. One would ask why I choose to quit. I realised that I was missing out on a lot of things in my quest of finding love. I was missing out on being a big loving sister to my chubby, intelligent baby sister. I was missing out on building relationships with family and basking in my blessings.

I realised that I needed to grow, flourish and offload some dreams and plans that I had long forgotten about. I learnt that privacy is power the hard way, so l began to cut and prune some relationships. I had heart-to-heart conversations with my younger self. These conversations come from a good place and I have healed, I have forgiven myself and tried to make realistic expectations.
Honey, there are days I cry myself to sleep because I am human and at the end of the day what matters is I did not give up.
