Aren't libraries the best?

If there is such a thing as a library evangelist, I am it.

Libraries have formed the backbone of my reading and writing life. When I was younger, I would spend afternoons with my grandmothers at the library, browsing the stacks for new reads, and just generally feeling delighted at the fact that an ordinary person could access books FOR FREE whenever they needed them. As I've grown from a young lover of books to a (slightly) older one, my love for libraries has only grown with me.

Libraries got better with Libby

Last year I discovered the miracle that is the Libby App, which now allows you to access your library's collection of e-books and audibooks, FOR FREE.

I have opened up a whole new world for myself of e-reading and audiobook listening that has changed my life. I have been awed by what I've been able to access simply because I'm a member of the Cape Town Library System. It's been a blast.

I would be so thrilled if you could all access my books on Libby so I reached out to my publishers to find out how it all works. It turns out that readers need to request that their library stocks a particular e-book. Some of mine are already available in certain libraries, and others are not.
