Rogers Marisol is a teenager, and she was horrible to her mother just before her mother dies in a car accident. This is mostly about grief and anger. Marisol is angry at what seems to be the world as a whole. Mostly because she is the child of an immigrant (Filipina) and like most teenagers she wants to fit in and be her own person. But now she is dealing with the grief and the anger and feeling isolated, she rebels and then has to confront the consequences. There's family that is also dealing with the death, and there are new friends that are accepting her as she is and helping her along the path of healing. For someone dealing with anger and grief this is an excellent read, for others you might need to tread lightly. Find it here! | | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
