Autistic goodness for 2025!

What's Happening in 2025 In David's Autistic World?

2025, I am hoping, will be a year of substantial growth for me as both a professional and an Autistic and otherwise neurodivergent person. With that in mind, there are some upcoming events in 2025 that I want to bring to your attention in the hopes that you can come and join in the fun!

Official Book Launch!

A Guide to Autism and Psychosis has already been published for a little while, but we will be holding the official book launch event in my home city of Brighton on January 17th @ 6pm. There are event listings on Facebook and LinkedIn to publicise this, responding to or sharing these events really helps their visibility. The event is free to attend. I will be reading from my new book, as well as selling and signing copies of it, and maybe some of my previous books too!

Please use the buttons below to respond to and share the events on your preferred platform!

If you don't want to wait until  January to get your copy of A Guide to Autism and Psychosis then you can purchase yours right now by clicking below!

January Webinar: Is Autism a Disorder? Insights from the neurodiversity movement

If you've ever wondered why autism is seen as a disorder, and how we might use the insights of the neurodiversity movement to change that, then my live webinar on January 20th is perfect for you. I will be exploring history, theory, and literature to establish my thoughts on exactly those things. Click the button below to buy your ticket, and remember to use code AUT15 at the checkout for 15% off!

February Webinar: Working With Neurodivergent Co-Workers

This webinar will explore some of the core Autistic and neuroaffirming theories behind neurodivergent experience and how that impacts on our experience of work. Early Bird Tickets are available for a reduced price currently, but only for a limited number, so grab them quickly to avoid missing out on the reduced cost! Again, you can use code AUT15 for 15% off.

March Webinar: Understanding Autistic Wellbeing

This webinar will be exploring my own thoughts and interpretations of and on existing community and neuroaffirming knowledge regarding Autistic mental health and wellbeing. This is the perfect webinar for anyone looking to better understand the wellbeing of Autistic people and reframe their thinking around their mental health.

Tickets are not currently available for this event but you can visit the event page to get a reminder when they go live!

Anyone who buys a ticket to January's webinar will get a 20% discount code for this event, and a recording of this event will be available to ticket holders.

A Renewed Professional Focus

In 2025 I will be taking my professional work further in the direction of advocacy, research, and training. If you're a current mentoring client, you will still have your sessions while you need them, but I will be redirecting myself towards Autistic rights and academic investigation. As part of this, I will continue to work with my colleagues at Autistic Substance Use Network to build on the foundation we have been growing there. To visit the ASUN website click below.

Furthermore, if you want to discuss training or public speaking with me, you can book an initial consultation with me at the button below.

Thank you to all of you

When I started writing almost a decade ago, I was new to recovery from addiction, undiagnosed, and had consigned myself to an unhappy life. The support and encouragement that all of my followers and subscribers have given me has pushed me to places that I could never have dreamed. I am here because of all of you. You all helped me survive and become the father and professional that I am so happy to be today. This life is not possible without all of you.

Thank you so much.

Happy New Year.

David
