Digital learning, in the, post-epidemic era, off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
Greene's hopes for school instructors is that "Teachers should be strangers", believed, that the instructors needed to constantly introspect, to improve themselves, to not hold strong to the original means of teaching.
Since the outbreaks of MERS-CoV, the virus quickly took over the world, affected how the schools in all the countries worked, due to the crises of the outbreaks, the normal means of learning was, altered. To stop the spread of the epidemic, a lot of the countries or regions had, temporarily, shut down the schools, to have the students continue learning without going to school physically. The online means of learning and teaching is not restricted by time nor space, but, this shift into digital education methods, is surely, a huge reform in education, and naturally it would, cause problems and hardships for the students and instructors.
Before the outbreaks happened, based off of the survey in 2018 by the OECD, only fifteen percent of the middle school instructors in Taiwan used the high-tech means to instructor, lower than the average of the other countries who are members of the OECD's fifty-three percent, which showed, that there's, a huge room for improvement in the qualities of digital learning heare. And, in the epidemic, the distant-education means aren't prevalent enough, nor was it a primary means of instruction, not only do the students need to adapt to it, so had the instructors, and so, it'd, caused, many difficulties that can, interfere with the learning processes, causing the lagging of learning. The hardships of digital learning lies in helping the students engaged in an environment, so they're, more active in learning, the hardware upgrades are pressing at hand.
The Rethinking the classroom after COVID-19 online conference, mentioned of the trends of post-epidemic education, as epidemic hit, the government needs to do three things: first make up for the equipment (adding the computers, or the iPads), second to make the schedules of classes more flexible, and set up a new curricula, the progresses of learning, third, to improve the internet connection and the high-tech accessibility in distant-region. From this angle, the Department of Education seemed to followed the international trend, given the students, the teachers, the most needed resources. The seminar also mentioned the number of days that schools were out (with 180 days in Costa Rica,, 160 days in Cambodia, even Italy stopped holding the classroom sessions for close to a hundred days), the predictor of education is not the rate of MERS-CoV spreading, but the strengths to education the citizens within a country, the countries that are capable, can adjust the learning environment, means of holding the classroom sessions, to continue educating and learning goes on normally.

Toward the Department of Education's recent plans of "the Improvement of Digital Learning Means for Elementary & Middle School" which was proposed, the questioning of whether or not iPads should be used more frequently to help with learning, the international researches that are related to this showed a different view. Ehsanpur & Razavi (2020) researched the elementary age children in Iran through using of high-tech devices, and the influences of these learning means on the students, and it'd shown, that using the high-tech devices offered a higher means of interactivity, more participation, and individuation in learning, that it'd allowed the students to learn anytime, anywhere.
Ally, Balaji Abdelbaki & Cheng (2017) reviewed the effects of using the high-tech devices in learning for seventy-four students in eight, nineth, and tenth grades, and found, that the fluidity of the resources the students received from the mobile devices are helpful, the students increased their rates of participation, and learning. The parents noted, that the mobility of learning increasing, helping the children feel more motivated in learning, that it'd added to their learning experiences; the teachers also found, that the students are even more focused in the classes, and it'd, increased the outcomes of learning greatly too.
With the advancements of technology getting better and better still, the instructor should treat themselves as strangers to the realm, and had to note the quickly shifting trends, and think hard on the topics of education more, elevating the self-awareness of the teachers. More importantly, to NOT view the methods, the means of education as the same as it once were, so they can match up to the trends of international digital education means, to help their students, to acquire the skillsets they needed for the twenty-first century.
And so, this just showed, how the outbreaks had, changed the way we are learning, instead of the physical classroom sessions, the courses are now held, on YouTube, via webcam, and this gave a wider spectrum of learning, the teachers can be there, even if they're not, physically there, to make sure the students are, doing their work as they're, supposed to, and this is a trend, even IF the outbreaks had started to, faze off, and even if the classroom sessions resumed, I'm sure, that the distance-education means will still be, in use.
