We just ffinished binge watching the season 1 of Raising Dion.. it is a decent show. Super hero stuff is not my genre but this show is quite endearing. It is about a 8 year old child who is discovering he has special powers and his 'normal' mother trying to raise him.

The young boy Ja' Shia who plays Dion is very endearing and a good actor. This Netflix series in based on a 25 page comic book written by Dennis Liu. He also made a short film on the same comic book.

Apparently the story line in the Netflix show is not exactly following the plot form the book but I have not read the book yet to know the difference! I shall look for the book in the library and if I find and and read it, I'll write a blog post on how it is different!

But for now.. do watch the show if you want to spend time sitting in front of the TV.. Little Dion or Ja'Shia has done a great job!
