The man, Huang, got behind the wheels drunk on the night of the first of this month, rammed his car into a light pole, and was rushed to the hospital alongside his girlfriend, Wu who was on the passenger side, Wu died, but Huang left the hospital on his own accord, and three hours later as the police called him in, his blood-alcohol level still exceeded the legal limits; the district attorney's offices conducted an autopsy yesterday, Wu's parents were there, and accused Huang of being the jealous type, that he was an alcoholic as well, that he'd asked their daughter to commit suicide alongside him, suspected that the car crash was "intentional"; the D.A. had the police reviewed over the street surveillance to clarify this, Huang was sent home after the initial interviews, and the police is now, looking into the matter more thoroughly.
The police found, that the forty-six year-old Huang is a plumber/electrician, at ten in the evening on the first this month, he'd gotten drunk, and got into his SUV, drove his forty-year-old girlfriend, Wu home, as he'd passed the Zhong-Ke Road intersection in Xitun District, he'd, rammed into the light pole by the side; as the ambulance came, the paramedics saw that both weren't wearing their safety belts, but the airbags had all popped open, Huang was complaining of chest pains, Wu, in and out of, consciousness.
Wu died from the hemothorax when she's rushed into the hospital, Huang only had minor scratches on him, didn't get a breathalyzer, and exited the hospital on his own, as the police notified him, three hours later, he'd only gotten to the substation at around three in the morn, two days ago, and, his breathalyzer showed 0.5mL then; Huang denied having fled because of guilt, claimed, that he found that he didn't take his wallet out when he was in the hospital, that he'd left the hospital on his own to retrieve his wallet.
The police and D.A. examine the body yesterday, Wu's parents told them, that Wu worked at a noodle stand, had been married before, lived with her three children, met Huang, then started dating him; but, their daughter found, that Huang not only drank, but was also, too easily, jealous, and constantly suspected that she was seeing another, and demanded money from her, they'd argued a lot.
Wu's parents told, that their daughter told them, that after Huang got drunk, he'd claimed he was going to kill himself, invited their daughter to "go with him"; the point of the crash impact was the front passenger side only, they'd suspected, that Huang killed their daughter intentionally, using the car crash.
There was no street surveillance camera where the accident occurred, the D.A. ordered all the street surveillance cameras be reviewed locally, and the dash cam records too, after Huang was interviewed, he was sent back home.
And so, despite the parents' testimonies, it's still not quite enough, because, there's no evidence that showed, that this wasn't, a simple, crash, and yet, with this man's jealous priors, it's more than likely, that he'd, used this crash, to murder his own girlfriend, because she was on the way, to breaking up with him, so he took her life instead.
