If you want a detailed analysis of the complicated mess into which the separatists have plunged Scotland, there's a very long article worth reading, by a Glasgow academic, who I stongly suspect does not share my views but whose conclusions on Sunak are not so different from mine!
Whether the UK government wishes to wade into this political quagmire, given both the gender politics and the devolution politics, is another question entirely.
