Ralph Norman (R-SC), Chip Roy (R-TX, Dan Bishop (R-NC), Bob Good (R-VA), Matt Rosendale (R-MT) and Andy Biggs (R-AZ). In a House narrowly divided in favor of Republicans, 222-213, McCarthy can lose no more than four Republicans without relying on Democratic support, assuming all members participate."
Playbook: "It was always baked in that Democratic votes would be needed to push a bipartisan debt deal over the finish line. But the open question is whether McCarthy will need a couple of dozen crossover votes — or potentially many more than that… Needless to say, there is little room for error."
Donald Trump wished a happy Memorial Day to those who are "stopping the threats of the terrorists, misfits and lunatic thugs who are working feverishly from within to overturn and destroy our once great nation."

That's significantly bigger than what low-wage workers got during the entire administration of President Barack Obama, following the Great Recession."

Former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) said that her fellow Republicans wanted her to lie about Donald Trump, the AP reports.
Said Cheney: "After the 2020 election, and the attack of January 6, my fellow Republicans wanted me to lie. They wanted me to say that the 2020 election was stolen, that the attack of January 6 wasn't a big deal, and that Donald Trump wasn't dangerous."
She added: "I had to choose between lying and losing my position in House leadership."
