NEW DELHI (India CSR): Partha Ghosh, who served as the Head of Corporate Communications, Digital Communications, and CSR at Samsung Southwest Asia, has resigned from his position. Monday marked his final day at Samsung, concluding his tenure of eight and a half years with the company. Ghosh took to LinkedIn to announce his departure.
In his post, Ghosh said, "Today was my last day at #Samsung… When I stepped into the Samsung HO in Gurugram eight and half years ago, I knew I was getting into an exciting new world, but had no idea it was going to be this high octane. I grew with Samsung as Samsung grew with India.
"Many memories flashing through my mind now – many successes, my teams, my visits to Seoul, Global Galaxy Unpacked, India Unpacked, launch of the world's largest mobile factory in Noida with Prime Minister Narendra Modi as chief guest, launch of flagship CSR programs – many of which I captured in my Linkedin posts over these years.
"I also made many new friends along the way, something I will cherish all my life. Sincerest thanks to all my colleagues – past & present – at Samsung, my Comms & CSR teams, partners, Cheil, AvianWe, NSDC, IIT Delhi, News18, and all my friends in the media for helping me transition from a journalist at heart to a Comms and CSR pro in body and soul. Signing off now. See you next week… ciao," Ghosh added.
Ghosh joined Samsung from his role as a Senior Editor at Economics Times. Prior to his time at Economics Times, Ghosh had also contributed to Business Standard.
In his role at Samsung, Ghosh was responsible for leading the company's corporate communications, digital communications, and CSR initiatives in India and South Asia. He played a key role in shaping Samsung's brand image in the region and was instrumental in launching several successful CSR programs.
Ghosh is a well-respected communications professional with over 20 years of experience in the industry. He is known for his strong strategic and creative thinking, his ability to build relationships, and his commitment to excellence.
Ghosh's departure is a loss for Samsung, but he leaves behind a strong team that is well-positioned to continue the company's success in India and South Asia.
