We're already halfway through 2023.
Wow. What a year.
There's this thing on BookTube where they will always wrap-up what they've read at the end of the month. There's the ones who've always read way more than I ever could, namely BooksandLala and CriminOlly, who read hundreds and hundreds of legible ink printed on tree paper, and I've always wondered, How?
How do you read so much?
Why do you read so much?
It's really quite impressive, the people who read as many books as there are days of the year, or even months of the year. There's a subreddit, r/52book (RIP Reddit. Use Lemmy instead), and a bunch of Facebook pages (Psychological Thriller Readers, Books of Horror, to name a few), and the people there read so much. Freida McFadden fangirls can easily gobble up all of her backlog in the course of a couple of weeks. Extreme horror lovers can devour Aron Beauregard and Cows and Tender is the Flesh in one yummy meal.
