Sometimes it's hard to think of certain countries as proper democracies, when the so-called left and right conspire to exclude popular patriotic parties from a fair chance at participation in government...
...Germany especially bad in this respect, but now we find Portugal's Chega party....
....which we have applauded in the past, facing the same kind of unholy alliance in next March's elections.
We've discussed Chega before....but the following sentence from a recent teport indicates why so mant sensible Portuguese are planning to support the party.
