AIM Director Emma Dalmayne and Jenny Payne went to see Emma and Karl Lloyd-Buckingham in Eastbourne, Sussex on Friday. They tragically lost their daughter Chante, age 24 on August 12th last year, after she unalived herself in supported living accomodation. We spoke here about Chante, about her hobbies, her passions, the failure of CAMHS to support her, about what Emma and Karl want to change with the CQC and about their petition to the government. Failures to meet need, autistics unaliving themselves and insufficient monitoring of care homes, of mental health wards, ATU's and supported living is rampant in the UK. Karl wrote this beautiful poem for Chantè, and read it at her funeral: "In Loving Memory of Chante A Celebration of Her Light. “I love you to the moon and back again.” For Chante, who now Dances Among the Stars:
