But let's look at Germany, where the current leader of Mama Stasi Merkel's CDU party actually showed a grain of respect for democratic principles the other day.
"Of course we are obliged to accept democratic votes," said Friedrich Merz.
He had stubbornly refused to accept the possibility of a future coalition with the AfD patriot party.

But he did not exclude cooperation at local level.

Such respect for democratic principles incensed the German establishment.

Certainly, in-bound travel might be restricted, and a good thing too...
