Capricorn on Capricorn Relationships

Well, in September I took a lover. It wasn't something I was looking for at the time, it just happened.

He's a #DecemberCapricorn and I love our December/January #Capricon dichotomy. We're on the same page with just about everything and we don't need words to understand each other most of the time; it's understood. The only difference in our way of experiencing a Capricorn existence is he's the old year and I'm the new year. Whereas I can be dark but hopeful, he's much more jaded. We've lived very different lives but our hearts are in the same place. I like how this us growing 🌱💚

We celebrated our birthdays together this weekend since he can't come out tomorrow night with me.

Last night we went to a new Italian restaurant and took the long way walking back to his place to look at lights. Then it was cuddles and movies with him. His roommate/one of my besties (the person who introduced us) watched movies with us until I fell asleep on the couch.

Today we made a birthday cake together. We boiled a dime and dropped it in the batter. The #oldwivestale goes whoever finds the dime in the cake will have a lucky year.

We each had a candle to blow out as our friends sang "Happy birthday" to us. We blew them out at the same time. It was kind of like having a twin. And I found the dime!

Then we snuggled up and watched more movies until it was time for me to go home.

2 Capricorns in a slow burn romance has been exactly the energy I needed as I heal. We're both trying to get our shit together so we're not "boyfriend/girlfriend". Maybe we'll be one day, but not now.

So for now, it's good and I'm happy with how things are with he and I 💘♑️🐐
