I want
a war free world
a hate free world
which includes my little brother
I want to be able to breathe
clean air
and eat food that's not poisoned
I want violence to end
and animals to be free
and safe
I want to learn what I'm
interested in
not be brainwashed
by the system
I want everyone
and everything to be safe
I want poverty to vanish
I want a government
that works with
and for the people
I want them to get paid
the same as everyone else
and not be able to make laws
behind our backs
that take things from us
I want medical care for everyone
I want people to be happy
and free
but my mom said she can't get
those things for me
she said Santa can't wrap them
and no stores sell them
she said that bad people
are destroying the planet
and she's sorry
sorry
sorry
I don't understand
how the grownups
can accept what's happening
all I want is fairness
and kindness
for all living things
she said that's too much
to ask for
