GLRA India, in partnership with Artemis Hospital in Gurugram Sec 57, organized a Mega Health Camp on November 30th, 2023. The event, titled "Ek Pahal Nirog Bharat Ki Aur," took place at the Community Centre in Tigra, with a primary focus on extending vital medical facilities and services to the local slums of Tigra Village.
The health camp featured a range of essential services aimed at addressing the diverse healthcare needs of the community. General Physicians and gynecologists, along with pharmacists, were present to cater to the outpatient department (OPD) requirements.
Additionally, attendees had access to services such as weight and height measurements for Body Mass Index (BMI) assessment, diabetes and blood pressure check-ups, eye and ear examinations (with distribution of necessary items as per individual needs), dental check-ups (accompanied by dental kit distribution), HB tests (CBC), TB screening, and hygiene awareness sessions (including hygiene kit distribution and medicine distribution).
The event successfully served approximately 350 approx individuals from the local community, making a significant impact on their health and well-being.
