| spannews Dec 2 | Dixon Technologies' wholly owned subsidiary Padget Electronics inaugurates new manufacturing plant in Noida In a boost to the local smartphone ecosystem, the new plant is to commence smartphone manufacturing in Q3, 2023 NOIDA – In a strong push towards increasing the Domestic Value Addition in the smartphone segment, Padget Electronics Private Limited - a wholly owned subsidiary of the Dixon Technologies (India) Limited, a pioneering name in electronics manufacturing, has inaugurated a new state-of-the-art smartphone manufacturing plant in NOIDA, Uttar Pradesh. The latest manufacturing facility by Padget Electronics, which is the smartphone manufacturing subsidiary of Dixon Technologies, has commenced the production of smartphones for global technology giant, Xiaomi India in Q3, 2023. With an investment of Rs. 256 Cr, the said state of art manufacturing facility at NOIDA is built across 2.7 lac square feet, at an annual capacity of 25 million units. The new manufacturing plant represents a significant stride in India's efforts to bolster its footprint in local smartphone manufacturing. Mr. Sunil Vachani, Executive Chairman at Dixon Technologies said, "We are delighted about the new state of the art manufacturing facility, quality processes and efficient production lines.
