It is Saturday December 30th (the 6th day of Christmas) and of course I plan on a little Susan time today ending with going to the Escape tonight. As always I got up and started my Saturday b going to the gym and then came home and did some work around the house. It was a little after noon when I was ready to transform myself for the rest of the day. Now I do want to go to Willamette National Cemetery and put flowers on my parents' grave as last weekend I didn't make it and looking at the weather forecast today looks the best. I did a casual look today, leggings and my purple sweater top. I also tried an ombre lip look where I lined my lips with a deep red called Maybelline lip ink in the color Exhilarator, kind of thick and then filled in the middle with a mauve pink called Maybelline lip ink in color Lover. It actually turned out really well and made my lips look a little fuller although the photos don't show it really well. Yes I still love playing with makeup and trying different looks.
It was about 2pm when I was already. My plan was simple go to Fred Meyers in Johnson Creek and get flower and pick up some foundation I ran out of, go put the flowers on my parents grave, then go to Starbucks on Airport way and 122nd till it was time to go to the Escape at 5:30pm. It was about 56 degrees when I left home and dry but I did take my coat just in case. It took about 25 minutes to get to Fred Meyers and I went in to get
flowers and then into the cosmetic section. I use a few different foundations but one of the drug store brands I like is the Cover Girl outlast full coverage foundation. I find it works well for shorter outings of 6 hours or less. The other thing I like about this one is I actually use 2 different shades in a way to contour my face a little. I use 845 warm beige on the center of my face and 857 warm tan on the outer part of my face, neck and under my cheek bones and then blend them together. It works well for me. I paid for my items and then was on the way to the cemetery which is less then 10 minutes from here.
I got to the cemetery and got my flowers and went to put them in the little cups you stick in the ground and t started to rain a little and as I was close to the car I got my umbrella. I walked out to the grave site which is about a foot ball field length and by this time it was raining pretty good. I placed the flowers and spent about 10 minutes here before I headed back to the car, yes 
even with the umbrella I was getting a little wet. I saw about 10 to 12 deer in different parts of the cemetery which is always nice. It was a little after 3pm now and time to go to Starbucks and yes by the time I got to the freeway (about 10 minutes) the rain had stopped and there were some sun breaks, bad timing on my part.
I got to Starbucks on Airport way and went in and they were not that busy. It was a little after 3:30 now s I had 1 ½ hours as I am less then 10 minutes from the Escape here. I got my drink and sat down to work on Tuesday's blog when I had dinner with Cassandra and Julie at Amaro's table. I finished t and posted it and started on Wednesday nights blog. I stayed here till 5:20 before heading to the Escape. I got to the Escape at 5:30 and went in and they were not that busy as I kind of thing Saturday night will be there big night being New Years Eve. I sat down at a table as I know a few girls will be here tonight.
One lady I have seen here a few times who has come over and said hi to me came over to talk to me and her and her friend ended up sitting at the next table and talking to me for w long time, her name was Deniese and her friend was Harry and they were both really nice. We talked till Jennifer arrived a little after 6pm and even then we all kept talking. I really enjoy interaction with other people and yes they did have some questions especially once I told them I was not full time. I think a lot of people don't think about that as I always go to the Escape as Susan so that is the only way people have seen me, same for my nail salon. I think in these cases people just assume I am full time, now I am not saying one is better then the other but it is who I am and what is right for me. 
It was nice to talk with Jennifer and yes we did discuss a little politics which I tend to avoid but there are those I know I can talk to who may think the same I do and those who may disagree with me but still accepts my views and even if they disagree with me. By the way it would be nice if we could all talk about our political views and have the other person just say we will agree to disagree and move on. Boths sides of politics seem to demonize the other side now and when you view the other side that way things fall apart. Poppy also showed up and we got on to other topics. It was nice to have them here tonight. We ordered dinner and had a nice time. kitty stopped by briefly but couldn't stay long. back to just the 3 of us we continued talking and just having a nice time.
At 8pm Karaoke started and it got a little louder. Deniese at the next table came over and wanted to get a picture with me which I never turn down although I should have gotten one on my phone to post. Jan and Lynn showed up about 8:15 so we had 5 of us now. Jan and Lynn had been shopping and had matching outfits tonight which is not unusual but it was complete from the pants, top, sweater and even the snowflake earnings. It really is cool they do this. They ordered dinner and Lynn put her name in to sing. We listened to the music and talked between the songs. Poppy left about 8:30 and by 9 Jennifer left. I stayed till about 9:45pm before I paid y bill and called it a night. It was a fun day and now I am looking forward to Sunday and Monday as I have a 3-day weekend.
