It's been quiet on the blog, especially in terms of reviews, and my reading hasn't been that speedy, but there have been some good things in there. I also spent two and a half weeks of March in my homeland of South Africa, introducing our daughter to all her family and friends down there. It was lovely (and warm!!) but very busy and it did not lend itself to reading time, unlike a normal holiday. And leading up to that trip I had to do prep for it in all of my baby's nap times, which is when I would usually sit down with a book. Another thing I ended up doing was getting rid of one of my bookshelves (the biggest one!!) and that meant reducing my collection by about 70 books. And can I say...? It feels so much better! I feel so much less pressure now that I own less books, and my lounge feels bigger without the unit taking up space. | | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
