I have no idea who said, "First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win," but regardless of where it originated, they left off the part where "winning" never tastes like victory at all, it just makes you really sad.
The evolution of truth with the covid vaxx has gone something like this:
1. It's safe and effective and will not only prevent covid, it will stop you from spreading it to others. You don't want to kill your grandma, do you??
2. Wait, we meant it's about 57% effective and will reduce your symptoms and lower your chances of dying when you do contract covid. You owe it to the vulnerable who are at greater risk! You must get vaxxed to protect them!
3. Okay, so it's actually a non sterilizing vaccine and will do absolutely nothing to protect those around you. Oops! We misspoke. It's still better than the alternative.
4. Actually, research seems to indicate that it does nothing to reduce symptoms, lower rates of death, or prevent the spread, but it is still preferable to the alternative!
5. Uhm, okay, so we seem to be having a pandemic of the vaccinated. If you just get six more boosters and experience a few more bouts of covid, you should start to build up some immunity.....
6. Everything is just fine. Vaccines are always safe and effective! Any side effects are extremely rare. Studies do indicate there may be some are some potential neurological, blood, heart-related issues resulting from the vaccine, but it's still better than the alternative.
7. Look, we did the best we could with the information we had at the time. We just didn't know...
(The heck you didn't! Many of the experts you harassed and fired knew. I knew!Much of this information has been censored and oppressed, but most of it has be available for more than 4 years for anyone willing to take a look.)
Many people have not yet worked their way through that list or adequately processed some of the emotional issues that can accompany such revelations. I'm not even sure social media is ready to let us freely discuss such things, but I have noticed a few cracks peeking out of the veneer, so I'm going to risk it.
I don't want to talk about the next part which is that people have been vaccine injured, and many have even died. It will take years for all the data to be collected, investigated, researched, so I can't offer any numbers. I do know that a vast number of people have now testified, made podcasts, and written blogs about the health issues and disabilities they are now suffering. Nearly everyone near and dear to me has taken this vaxx, so I am heavily invested in the hope that side effects and damage to our health is rare.
Many places, including Australia have now lifted all vaxx mandates. Canada now has a vaccine injury fund. The UK is now experiencing a large increase in disability applications. In the US things are slowly working their way through the court system and our political system. There are whispers cropping up about the need to pull it from the market.
I've been angry about the harm being done to people for a long time now. It would be nice to see the truth come to light and the right people held accountable.
