It turns out there's a 'Parliamentary Convention,' by which, no matter some low-life is scheduled to be kicked out... . . ...if an MP has been making any kind of representations to a minister on the low-life's behalf, no action on removal can be ordered. Knowing what a lot of MPs are like... . . ...it would be foolish not to expect this to happen. BUT.. Please note, it's a convention, not a legal barrier to action. If this theoretical problem becomes a reality, the Tories can simply ignore it and carry on... . . ....expediting the kick-out process. Yet would they have the guts to do so? What do you think?
