Hi there OHN subscribers! Thank you for the pledges and subscriptions so far - it’s been really nice to know that the service we provide with this newsletter is appreciated by so many of you. OHN has been running since the mid-2010s when I started compiling the many announcements I received for important events, conferences, special issues, grant funding opportunities and jobs and consolidated this into a newsletter that brought together business historians, historians, organization scholars, ethnographers and other interested folks. And as an announcement service, it will continue in the same way as a free newsletter. Going forward, I’ll start a regular series of paid posts, which will be “meatier” blogs based on talks and discussing issues such as how we use AI as academic researchers, how to do interdisciplinary and historical research, and manage the multiple demands of academic life. If that’s for you, you can subscribe here, now: If you are not sure, I will start posting a few pieces for free to give you an idea of what this will look like. Also, as a paid subscriber, you will have access to the chat and the back catalogue (a.k.a. the archive) of OHN. By all means, let me know what else you would find interesting to see - always good to hear from you! If you just want to show your support without subscribing, you can also just buy me coffee. You're currently a free subscriber to Organizational History Network. For the full experience, upgrade your subscription. |
