First of all apologies for not updating you all in a while, things have been a little hectic but in a good way. A bit of a strange post to start the new year off but felt this would be far more beneficial right now as many teachers/expats will be flying back to Kuwait in the coming days ready to begin the next term.
One thing I think all of us can agree on is when it comes to finding out regulations and rules on how to get back in, it can be quite the challenge. So I thought I would just update you all on my experience getting back into the country (especially as I had a few issues which made me somewhat anxious whether I'd either get back in).
I also just wanted to mention that this is purely based on if you are coming from England, so for other countries, even in the UK I would try and contact someone else who is also in the same position as you just incase the rules differ slightly.
What do I need to do before I board my flight ?
. Take a PCR test
You should arrange to have this done with a negative result less than 48 hours prior to boardingyour flight to Kuwait.
I live in Cheshire and used DAM Health in Liverpool to get my PCR to travel done. I've used them before so felt comfortable to stick to what I know, as well as the fact they provide results within 3 hours. If I remember correctly it was almost £90. It is expensive but worth getting your results quickly.
Other locations you can find with DAM Health for 3 hour results is Liverpool Rose Lane and Fulham.
If you decide to go with this one then you should download the app called Health Passport Worldwide. If you are unable to get the app then you can simply just fill out a form at their reception on arrival.
Lastly, don't forget to bring your passport with you when getting the PCR done!

Remember the Mosafer is not an app. Below is the link to the website.
You should complete this 24 hours before your departure. If your immune app is green you should have no issues. If it is red you will have to click on hotel quarantine and pay 2 PCR tests at a cost of 28kd. So check your immune app in advance.
You simply need your civil ID number, flight details etc to check in.
People can enter Kuwait without this being green but will be told to do a PCR at the airport on arrival. If like mine it was changed to red by mistake after being green, make sure you have some evidence of it being green. Thankfully I had a screenshot to prove this. If you have time, sort out your immune app before travelling, making sure its green.
. Download Shlonik App
This needs to be done before you board your first flight. At Manchester Airport they asked for you to show that it has already been downloaded.
You won't be registering until you arrive in Kuwait at the airport the staff will check.
How does the app work?
It monitors that you are quarantining at home. It will give you two options to choose to check in each time it asks. Either face recognition or voice record. I didn't fancy taking a selfie every time so I chose the voice record. It just gives you a set of numbers each time to record saying to check in.
Check in times are usually every few hours throughout the day and evening/night.
It will initially say you have 10 in my case 14 days quarantine. Don't panic! After 72 hours of arrival into Kuwait you can take a PCR test. Once you have a negative result you will upload that onto the app along with vaccination certificate proof, screenshot of immune app being green as well as the negative PCR result.
Then you just wait until it approves your end of quarantine.
. What will the UK side ask from you
They were the strictest, so once you pass that you are good to go.
. Civil ID
. Vaccination Certificate (the NHS covid pass one that was sent to you)
. Immune App green status
. Mosafer that you print off with barcode
. Downloaded Shlonik
. Negative PCR result
If you have all this you should be fine. Try to have all these printed off as well as saving them all in a file on your phone.
. Arriving in Kuwait
This is the easy part surprisingly. They simply just ask for your to register on shlonik. Will need your number to do this. Airport they have wifi.
After that when you go to the desk he just asked for my passport and civil ID and that was it.

Fa'ika while consoling them, said, the state government is determined to ensure restoration of peace and harmony in the state and therefore urged them to be prayerful for the success of government as well as the security agencies in their quest to end the criminality.
On his part, the leader of the delegation, Musa Bawa Musa noted that, the state Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle received with shock the Killing of the district head and other people killed in Gada Town during the heinous attacked by bandits.
He said, Gov Matawalle Condoled with the families of the deceased, People of Gada, Bungudu Emirate and entire people of Zamfara State for the loss and prayed for Allah's intervention to end the banditry and other criminal activities in the state.
Emir of Bungudu, Sarkin Fulani Alh. Hassan Attahiru who responded on behalf of the victims family, thanked the state government for the visit and the donation and called on government to do more in the fight against all forms of criminal activities in the state.

The dangerous intentions of the Khomeinist regime are a severe threat against international peace and security in threatening many countries with mass carnage with chemical and biological weapons of mass destruction. The regime would be a hundred times more dangerous were it to be allowed to develop nuclear weapons since it could perpetrate WMD terrorism worldwide with nuclear impunity.
