Pose • All Seasons
Technically, I didn't really watch this in November but I haven't had the chance to write about it and I really wanted to. I loved everything about this show: the 80s camp aesthetics, the social issues brought up, the authentic acting, the sick burns delivered by Electra, and more. It's a great show with great character development, that should've been way more popular that it was. I'm sad to see it end after three seasons only.

Dopesick • Season 1
Truthfully, this mini series is releasing one episode each week and last weekend I watched episode 4, so we are half-way. It is gripping and really sucks you into the story. The only remark I have to make is that this constant going back and forth along the timeline is incredibly confusing: the story takes place roughly from 1999 to 2005, with many timeline jumps not even declared. So, all of a sudden, I'm wondering "Wait, did this happen before or after what was happening in the previous scene?!". It's messy.

Superstore • Season 5
The funny thing is that this show never quite got my attention. It was one of those programs I'd put on to take a nap when pregnant last year, or to keep me company as I work on stuff on my laptop. This was until season 5. I know for a fact that the first two seasons weren't t as funny, because that's the reason why this became a background kind of show for me, but I don't know if then I was simply too distracted to appreciate season 3 and 4. Either way, season 5 was funny. Proper funny. Season 6 will be released on Netflix Sweden, in the next couple of weeks, I'd read though that Superstore struggled after the demise of America Ferrera so I'm not sure what to expect.

An excellent documentary delivered by talented Ava DuVernay. The content is outrageous, thought provoking, and hard to watch at times; the delivery has an engaging rhythm that makes it really easy to follow. It's possible to watch the film in full on Netflix's YouTube channel.

Love Hard
For the past couple of years, each weekend of December leading up to Christmas, me and my partner watch a Christmas film. This was my idea obviously, because I love to get into the holiday mood, it's just so cosy. Last Sunday we watched now very popular Christmas romcom "Love Hard". To its credit, I was entertained: it has a pretty good rhythm and most of the jokes are pretty funny, I also like the fact that "the guy" isn't your stereotypical Hollywood handsome guy. But that's about it, the film is not one worth watching again next Christmas...
