It's a busy week for publishing and the steam is coming off the presses: after the publication yesterday of 'Quiet Leadership', today sees 'Power and Potential' launched. This is my first published Enquiry Framework, formed of sixteen questions through which to explore the shape of your power.

An exploration of 'power' has always been relevant in my work around the context of the Social Age: indeed, the rebalancing of power is one of the twelve core aspects i've explored repeatedly over the last seven years, but this work focusses it less as a theoretical framework, and more as a practical exploration. To understand the power you hold, how it operates, where it reaches, and how fragile it may be.

It's based around three central themes: all power has limits, all power can be opposed, and all power comes at a cost.

Within those boundaries, the work guides you through a personal exploration of the power that you hold, and the potential that lies beyond it.

This week i also start work with this framework in a global organisation, working with a leadership team. I'm both excited, and nervous, as i prepare for the session: this is a familiar feeling with new work, as i have not yet formed my vocabulary and narrative structure around it. So i will be finding my way too.
