Anandibai's husband, Gopal was obsessed with his wife's education. Maybe he won't be consider true feminist icon today due to his forceful attitude. But nevertheless his contribution is immense in Anandibai's growth.
While watching movie few thoughts occured to me like how lot of things we have taken for granted. We are living in times of instant messaging.How difficult it would have been to wait for letters and stay away from your loved ones. There was not much veg options for Indians in foreign country. How expressing affection infront of other people was consider inappropriate. Nowadays everything is easy yet we fail to find true emotions.
This iconic woman died at the age of 22 due to Tuberculosis after completing her degree. Is it tragedy or some people are just born to do great things and depart this life at young age?
