someone's teaching tribal art, and
I think I'm creative

takes more
than wielding pens
choosing from ink and paint

in a language I barely understand
but the vibrancy of chosen colors
takes me to nature inspiring
her imagination
worlds she lives in
not same
as mine

to attain perfection

to just match nimble moves of her fingers
