I knew I hate my birthday but didn't know I hate everybody's birthday, and this time it was my fiancée's birthday. Poor soul! She didn't know - how much I hate birthdays. I learned a life lesson – never say I hate birthdays, and if you do then, be ready to eat cake from the wall. I love cake, and the wall is okay with it.
Why do people celebrate birthdays?
I asked the same question to my fiancée, and the conversation went like this-
She: I love my birthday more than you.
Me: But why (I am not surprised)?
She: Because I was born today?
Me: So?
She: It's a special day.
Me: So?
She: I am lucky that I got a chance to see the world and live among humans.
Me: Do you know 80% of humans ever lived on earth have died?
She: Forget it. You won't understand. It's just you don't have a heart.
Me: You are making things up and birthdays are waste of time.
She: What did you just say?
I can't complete the whole conversation, but you got the point. After this conversation, I had to buy an expensive gift (Jewelry), and now I am thinking about selling my kidney. The moral of the story is to do what the other person says without asking questions because asking questions can lead to losing a vital organ.
Birthday parties
I love parties so much that I hate birthday parties even more. I don't fall in the centre, either I love it or hate it. Organizing a birthday party has to be the toughest job in the world, and no matter how beautifully decorations you did, yet, your better half would fight you like a WWE pro wrestler. Now I understand why I have neck pain a day after the birthday party. Birthday parties can be brutal as balloons' colour is more important than your feelings. It hurts. I shouldn't have bought black balloons though.
A day after the birthday
You seem to think that worst is over, but it's not. Next year you have to go through it again, and you don't want neck pain anymore. So it's better to start preparing from today so that you can have mild pain on next birthday.
Best of luck to me.
