I looked him up by name and was initially shaken by the fact that he died ten years ago – but that turned out to be another Adam Raphael, though it threw me off my composing stride.
However, Oily is another posho – educated at two independent schools, one of which was the super-rich playground Charterhouse, and then Oriel College Oxford, and now he's a member of both the Garrick and the Hurlingham, fancy-pants London clubs, both haunts of the very-very wealthy.
But it's his outburst, unchallenged by any of the others.
