However, the news about an MP, James Sunderland, who had his invitation to speak suddenly withdrawn....

( by means of a racist-toned email ftom the 'Politics Society' which included this gem- ' 'such a successful event' with Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi, the Labour MP for Slough..... newly interested students would be put off by Mr Sunderland....Mr Dhesi's appearance was successful as many students liked that the society had brought in an MP who "looked like them."
Can't get much more racist than that!
...reminds us what sort of far-left garbage still infests UK campuses.
Although the invitation is now restored and it's promising that the Reading University vice-chancellor has promised to 'investigate the "oversight of clubs and societies...".
...what will emerge from that investigation we must wait and see.
