Hi NeuroHub Community, We have some exciting news; NeuroHub Community is partnering with AIM (Autistic Inclusive Meets) to relaunch one of our favourite campaigns, and we want YOU to get involved. #ShowUsYourMeds is back. Here's the thing. When people hear depression or anxiety, the immediate response is often "have you tried yoga?" or "just get outside more." And honestly? We're all for movement, fresh air, and the things that help us feel more like ourselves. But there is absolutely nothing wrong with also taking prescribed medication; and it's time we stopped acting like there is. Medication saves lives. It allows many of us to function, to work, to connect, to exist more comfortably in a world that wasn't built for our brains. The stigma around it is harmful, and together we can push back against it. So here's what we're asking you to do: Snap a pic of your prescribed meds, share it in the Facebook event discussion, and use the hashtag #ShowUsYourMeds. That's it. Simple, powerful, and as anyone who took part last time will tell you, genuinely moving to be part of. We will then share the pictures and words onto oyr public social media channels to increase their reach. The campaign runs for at least one week starting next week, so there's plenty of time to join in and share widely. If the campaign is REALLY popular, we will extend it's duration. One important note: this campaign is specifically for prescribed, scientifically evidenced medication. Please keep the discussion focused there.
