Home can be a place or a person. It can be words of comfort or encouragement that make you feel loved or realise that you are not alone. Home can be a voice that makes you feel safe or the scent that quiets all the voices in your head. I hope you find a place you call home. My heart has found shelter and protection in some individuals. I have opened my heart to people who have broken the walls of the place I call home.

When I confessed that although COVID-19 was now an epidemic I had not healed from the trauma that it had caused in the previous years he said he felt the same too. He taught me to appreciate the power of lyrics and not songs. So whenever I listen to any Urban grooves I can see his face.

My blog and my podcast have been my home, I have talked about things I have never talked about. I have watched my wounds heal and bleed as I write but I am not the person I was before I became The Baobab. I feel safe and I would do anything to be who I am.
