The social evening features a Hedge School style seminar
The campaign for decent living conditions has always been part of the struggle of the labour movement. Against the backdrop of a major housing crisis the Hedge School marks the centenary of Dublin's first tenant purchase scheme. The Tenters before a panel discussion celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Dublin Housing Action Committee.
Mags O'Brien and Séamus Dooley will moderate a conversation with veteransof the committee in a unique opportunity to celebrate a proud chapter in Dublin's social history.
The Hedge School begins at 7.30pm followed by music, song and verse centred on the struggles, strive and successes of the labour movement.
