...why the Labor Party State Premier, Steven Miles, waited till the eleventh hour to pledge removal of that idiotic 'detention as a last resort principle from youth sentencing." It's probably, as yet, too much to hope for a larger leap towards sanity, the reintroduction of corporal punishment... . 
. . ...but who knows, the Queensland election is still months away, in October. After recent events in New South Wales... ...this all indicates a turn to rationality. .

The only worry is those pinko creeps who rule the roost at Australia's high court, who only recently unleashed a pack of illegal alien brutes on innocent Australians... ...but perhaps Aussie readers can clarify if there's a danger to democracy from that angle.
