What Happened in The World of Autism in 2024?

It's been an intense and busy year for the Autistic community. In my own work, there has been far more than I could list all in one email. From sparring with CAMHS and systemic failures, through to exploring Autistic burnout on a personal and professional level. 2024 has been a year of change and growth. If you would like to read more about some of the highlights of this year, and things to look forward to next year, check out the article below!

EMERGENTDIVERGENCE.COM

In 2024, significant strides were made for Autistic liberation, showcasing both systemic failures and the strength of Autistic activism. This article focuses on the challenges faced in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), explores Autistic burnout, and talks about what the work of 2025 may look like.

Things to Look Forward To

Upcoming Webinars! Use code AUT15 at checkout for 15% off!

Besides my own webinars, I am planning some really big stuff that I can't talk about yet, but rest assured you will hear in the near future exactly what is in the works! No doubt there will also be lots of blog posts and video content. Did someone say Creating Autistic Suffering should return?

Don't Forget to Grab my New Book!

You're probably sick of hearing about my book, but I am painfully aware that many of my followers are just as AuDHD as I am. We tell ourselves we'll order it later, and then completely forget. Consider this your reminder to order your copy, and that none of us will remember it later. If we had that kind of executive function and working memory, we'd be running the planet.

A Guide to Autism and Psychosis is available now from Amazon, and hopefully coming to other outlets some day soon!

Don't Forget my LinkedIn Newsletter!

If you''re on LinkedIn you can subscribe to my newsletter for more of my neurodivergent ramblings! I look forward to seeing you there!

Before You Go…

As mentioned in the article that is linked at the top of the email, we are fighting the puberty blocker ban in the UK for Trans and Gender-Diverse children and young people. It would really help us if you could take a moment to sign and share our open statement!

Have a Happy Holiday Season and a Wonderful 2025!
