So much of what Autistic people hear about autism is deficit-focused, medicalised, and disconnected from lived experience. The Re-Storying Autism Video Course sets out to change that. Co-authored with Helen Edgar, this resource brings together reflective exercises and a guided video course to help you explore Autistic identity through a narrative lens; on your own terms. Whether you’re newly identified or have been Autistic your whole life, maybe even a carer for an Autistic person, there’s real value in pausing to ask; what story have I been told about autism, and is it the one I want to keep? This is a space to find your own answer. Video courses consists of 8 pre-recorded lessons, and is currently available for £39.99 until Monday 27th April.
