Join for an intimate and thought-provoking afternoon at the Reading Group: Reading My Panties: Queer Pillow Talk on Saturday December 9th, 16.00-18.00.
During this reading session facilitated by Ange Neveu (they/them), you'll join a journey through the theme of 'Contagions, highs, and fevers'. This exploration will delve into the contagious experiences of queerness, the exhilarating highs of gender expression, and the feverish desires that course through our beings.
Through selected readings, you'll navigate the terrain of emotions and encounters that may be excessive, unhealthy, addictive, uncontrollable, or self-indulgent, and examine how they traverse from one body to the next. The discussion may also touch on the intriguing notion of panties as a guardian of these bodily trepidations.
Trigger warning: the reading material will touch upon sensitive topics including drug use and abuse, alcoholism, transphobia, suicide and ideation, as well as rape and sexual violence.
